Ubisoft is still ruling the UK all formats and individual formats chart with Watch Dogs closely followed by Mario Kart 8, which has retained its second position.
Watch Dogs’ sales have declined by nearly 81 percent – 84 percent drop in PS4/Xbox One sales and 68 percent drop in PS3/Xbox 360 sales.
According to Gfk Chart-Track, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier was the only other title from Ubisoft and that too released in 2012 that gave Ubisoft back-to-back top position on UK charts.
Mario Kart 8 has been selling like hot cakes in its first week and it also gave Nintendo to rejoice considering it helped the Japanese gaming giant move quite a few consoles. Despite the 76 percent decline, it kept its second spot.
Murdered: Soul Suspect indeed was a strong debutant this week, but it couldn’t move either Watch Dogs or Mario Kart 8 from their respective spots and only had to be content with third spot in all formats chart. However, Gfk Chart-Track data shows that the fight between Mario Kart 8 and Murdered: Soul Suspect was a close one with the latter only behind by 400 units in sales.
Elsewhere Wolfenstein: The New Order came in at fourth with 51 percent decline in sales; FIFA 14 dropped to fifth with 25 percent decline in sales.
2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil, with 10 percent decline in sales, is still at sixth spot, while Minecraft: PS3 edition is at seventh with 37 percent decline and Xbox 360 Edition at tenth with 27 percent decline.
Titanfall and Call of Duty: Ghosts, both number one titles in their debut and subsequent weeks, are at ninth and eighth spot respectively.
