Users of Xbox One won’t be able to livestream their gameplay using Twitch as the integration has been delayed yet again.
In a tweet, Twitch Support revealed that they haven’t received any information from Microsoft about the livestreaming through Xbox One and that users should wait a few more months. “Xbox One Direct Broadcasting: There is no ETA at this time from Microsoft. Expect a few more months. If we know sooner, we’ll update”, tweeted Twitch Support.
PlayStation 4 users have been able to stream games right from the day the console was launched – Nov. 15, 2013. Microsoft also promised Twitch support and said at the time that once the Xbox One is launched on Nov. 22, gamers will be able to do the same. That didn’t happen and Microsoft revealed that it will bring the livestreaming feature in first part of 2014.
“We are working to ensure the initial Twitch on Xbox One broadcasting experience meets the expectations of the Twitch community, so while this feature won’t be available right away, we’ll let you know as soon as it is ready. Our goal is to deliver it during the first part of 2014”, said Microsoft in a newswire update late last year.
Microsoft hasn’t officially revealed anything about Twitch support as yet since the November 2013 update.
