Tesco’s budget-friendly Hudl 2 is a little bit more pocket friendly as the supermarket chain is offering its tablet for just £109 (with code). Along with the tablet, buyers will also get £60 of vouchers in the box.
Successor to the original Hudl, the Hudl 2 packs a 8.3-inch Full HD display, Dolby optimised sound, a quad core Intel processor along with quite a few other refinements making it all the more impressive and worth a buy for offer price.
If we dive into the technical specifications of the tablet, it packs the quad-core “Bay Trail” Intel Atom Z3735D processor clocked at 1.33GHz, 2GB RAM, and 16GB internal storage space. As far as connectivity to the tablet goes, the Hudl 2 features Wi-Fi, a miniHDMI out connection, microSD slot and microUSB port for charging.
The Hudl 2 has performed well on a number of benchmark tests performed by quite a few review sites averaging at SunSpider JavaScript test or about 802ms; 3DMark Ice Storm Extreme test score of 7,680 – an indication that the tablet can easily cope with some high-performance and demanding games.
Hudl 2 may pack the same rubberised back, but the form factor has been improved upon and it is a lot more slim compared to its predecessor.
For those interested in buying the tablet can head onto Tesco here and during checkout apply code ‘TDX-PKJK’ (without quotes) to receive the £20 discount on MRP.
