UK mobile retailer Carphone Warehouse, which has already started taking pre-orders for Samsung’s latest offering, has announced that the handset will start shipping from December 12th.

The Galaxy Note Edge is currently available for pre-order with the retailer for £58.80/month with no upfront cost, or for £749.95 SIM free in blue and white color variants.

Powered by a quad-core 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge features a 5.6-inch Quad-HD+ (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) Super AMOLED display, 3GB RAM, 32 and 64GB internal storage configurations (expandable via microSD card) as well as a 3,000mAh battery.

There’s a 16-megapixel autofocus rear camera with Smart OIS, and a 3.7-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/1.9 lens on board.

The Android 4.4 KitKat-running handset will be available in 4G LTE and 4G LTE Cat 6 (LTE Advanced) variants.
