Sony has given its four year old PlayStation Plus monthly subscription plan a rework and with that it will offer two new titles each month for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita giving gamers as many as six titles per month.
Prior to this Sony was offering free titles, but the duration would vary depending on the title and the free offer on quite a few would expire within a month. However, starting July Sony will add two new titles each to the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita Instant Game Collection.
The titles will be added on first Tuesday of each month in North America or Wednesday in Europe and last month’s title will expire on that Tuesday or Wednesday depending on the region, Sony has announced.
For June Sony will be adding Trine 2: Complete Story (PS4), PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate (PS4), NBA 2K14 (PS3), Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time (PS3), Terraria (PS Vita), and Mutant Mudds Deluxe (PS Vita) for its US subscribers.
European subscribers will be getting Trine 2: Complete Story (PS4), PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate (PS4), NBA 2K14 (PS3), Lone Survivor (PS3), Dragon’s Crown (PS Vita) and Surge Deluxe (PS Vita).
John Koller, the vice president of platforms marketing at Sony Computer Entertainment America explained that this move is a part of evolving PS Plus as a service that really serves its community.
