Yesterday, Google announced a new feature in Gmail that would allow anyone on Google+ to send emails to fell Google users on their registered Gmail address. If the recipient replies, the email address is revealed to the sender. The default setting on everyone’s inbox except celebrities and businesses is set to ‘Anyone on Google+’, but it is controllable and we will show you how.
Login to your Gmail account and click on the little gear icon on the top right hand corner of the screen and then click on settings from the drop down. Next, while on the ‘General’ tab of the Settings page, scroll down till you see the option ‘Email via Google+’.
Click on the drop down menu there and pick one of the following options: Anyone on Google+, Extended Circles, Circles, or No One. The process is pretty simple, but if you need an elaborate explanation on this you can head on to the support page from Google.
