OnLive announced that it has slashed subscription fee of its recently launched video streaming service, CloudLift. CloudLift’s subscription fee which was earlier around £9.99/$14.99 per month has now been dropped to £4.95/$7.95 per month.
The cloud gaming companion service lets all the subscribers stream games from the cloud and play them anywhere even while travelling. It allows users to play their existing games purchased on Steam across a variety of devices, including tablet PCs and TVs, through the cloud.
The service also syncs with cloud, to enables users to save the game and pick up from where they left off earlier. Multiplayer gaming is also supported and all downloadable content is available.
In addition to the price cut, OnLive also revealed that five new Warner Bros’ title have been added to the CloudLift line-up. The newly released LEGO The Hobbit, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, Injustice: Gods Among Us, Lords of the Rings: War in the North and indie title Shadow Warrior are the latest games which have made their way to the streaming service.
CloudLift’s another subscription plan is the £6.99/$9.99 PlayPack subscription plan, which provides instant access to over 250 games streamed to OnLive compatible devices.
People who are yet to try CloudLift can take a free 7-day trial through the OnLive application’s Market.
