Microsoft updated its OneDrive app for Windows Phone and Android just a day after it announced that Office 365 subscribers will be offered unlimited OneDrive storage instead of 1TB.
Microsoft said that the updated app will enable users to easily access their files and will enable them to stay more productive – thanks to the new interface and options for accessing work documents on Windows Phone and new folder widget and more on Android.

Going into the details of the update, OneDrive for Windows Phone lets users to easily find and open folders. A new navigation drawer provides for easy access to recent and shared files, download/upload status, settings, and easy access to work account.
OneDrive for Android on the other hand brings access to OneDrive recycle bin and supports for widgets. Users can even pin folders to home screens of their devices.
“This has been a very popular feature on Windows Phone for some time, and we’re excited to bring it to Android,” Microsoft notes in a blog post.
The updated OneDrive apps are now available in their respective Windows Phone and Google Play stores.
