It would not be considered crazy, not even a slight fanaticism, for people to go on seemingly endless queues just to get their hands on Apple’s newest gadget, the iPhone 4. All such behavior seemed like a perfectly natural thing for thousands of Apple’s customers. But shoppers who wish to have the time’s most popular handy phone in white would have to wait one more month. The white models are currently unavailable until July… not even for pre-orders!

Due to a manufacturing glitch, Apple will not be able to release the white iPhones until the said date. The company said that the white models of the new iPhone have proven to be more challenging to manufacture than they expected. Because of this, the models would not be available until the second half of July. Most customers however, take comfort in the fact that the availability of the more popular black models of iPhone 4 would not be affected.

Network operators Vodafone, Orange, O2, Tesco and Three have announced upgrade prices and tarriffs for the latest iPhone.

In a statement, Apple said that it has sold more than 50 million iPhones since 2007 when the gadget first went on sale. Want more great gadget finds? Visit Gadgetepoint
