Motorola Moto G will be available in India by January end, one of top executives of Motorola has confirmed.
The price competitive handset from Google-owned company will be available for purchase in India by January end – most probably by ‘last week of this month’ confirmed William Moss, director of corporate communication at Motorola Mobility to Times of India on the sidelines of CES earlier this month.
The handset has already been launched in multiple markets including Brazil and has managed to attract price-conscious buyers as it being touted as a smartphone that packs enough horsepower to deliver performance that fall in line with those of iPhones and Galaxy smartphones.
For those who are not aware of Moto G yet, it is a smartphone that has a 4.5-inch screen with 720P resolution, 1.2GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 5-megapixel camera, Android 4.2.2 KitKat, and comes in two internal storage options – 8GB and 16GB.
In related news, Moto G Play Edition is already available via US Google Play Store with a price tag of $179. The smartphone is said to be compatible with HSPA+ bands of AT&T and T-Mobile in the US.
