Microsoft’s updated Next Lock Screen for Android version 1.5.1 adds a host of new features including music controls, quick glance notifications, and more.
The updated Next Lock Screen for Android features music player controls to enable users to control music settings directly from the lock screen. With the updated app, users will get instant messaging notifications for Skype, Line, and Google Hangouts on the lock screen. Both the new features are available only for devices running Android 4.3 and higher versions.
Another updated feature is the new quick toggle option for turning on and off mobile data from the lock screen itself, same like Android Lollipop. In addition, the updated app also shows MMS message notifications as well. Calendar, missed calls and text message notifications are also included in the new Lock Screen app. Users can now dial a conference call with just a single tap without even unlocking the phone.
The Lock Screen also shows most used apps from user’s current location for easy and quick access. Furthermore, users can now choose dynamic background based on their location.
Users can currently download the updated Next Lock Screen app via Google Play Store for free. It is to be noted that the app supports devices running Android 4.0 and higher.
