Microsoft has temporarily slashed prices of four of its Surface Pro 3 tablet models.
The $100 promo offer, which runs only until Feb. 7, Saturday, include the 128GB Intel Core i5, 256GB Core i5, 256GB Core i7, and the high-end 512GB Core i7. Prices of the Surface Pro 3 tablets now range from $799 for the 64GB version to $1,849 for the 512GB model.
The only Surface Pro 3 model which remains immune to the discount offer is the entry-level 64GB Intel Core i3 model. It is already at its cheapest at $799.
The discounted prices of the Surface Pro 3 models as appearing on Microsoft’s online store are as follows:
- Intel Core i5, 128 GB: $899 (Original price: $999)
- Intel Core i5, 256 GB: $1,199 (Original price: $1,299)
- Intel Core i7, 256 GB: $1,449 (Original price: $1,549)
- Intel Core i7, 512 GB: $1,849 (Original price: $1,949)
In addition to the discounted price, buyers of any Surface Pro 3 tablet – including the base variant – will also get a free protective sleeve to hold the tablet. The free sleeve offer will last through 5 April. The offer is currently valid only in the United States and Canada.
The announcement comes as Microsoft’s sales of Surface Pro 3 tablets surged past the $1 billion mark for the first time during the last quarter.
