We reported earlier of the changes that Microsoft made to Windows 10 Preview builds wherein Gabe Aul at Microsoft revealed how users will be required to connect their registered Microsoft Account (MSA) to continue receiving future Windows 10 preview build – both Slow and Fast ring – through Windows Update.
He further adds that Windows Insiders running the Windows 10 Insider Preview (Home and Pro editions) with their registered MSA connected to their PC will receive the final release build of Windows 10 starting on July 29th. This means that users are not required to have any previous Windows license with them to receive the licensed copy of Windows 10.

So, if you register as a Windows Insider and download the latest Windows 10 preview build on your system and continue running it till July 29, you will receive the final build of Windows 10.
Aul confirms this in the next statement where he says “As long as you are running an Insider Preview build and connected with the MSA you used to register, you will receive the Windows 10 final release build and remain activated. Once you have successfully installed this build and activated, you will also be able to clean install on that PC from final media if you want to start over fresh.”
