FIFA 14 has ended on a high note by topping the last gaming charts of 2013 in the UK.
Start of 2013 saw FIFA 13 ruling the charts while FIFA 14 garnered ace position to close the year. Despite the ace position, sales of the gaming title have been down by 31 percent. Call of Duty: Ghosts managed to retain its second position with a 24 percent decline in sales, while Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag with 15 percent decline retained third spot. Battlefield 4 and Grand Theft Auto V finished at fourth and fifth positions respectively.
If we look back at 2013 and performance of the ball-kicking title, FIFA 13 stayed in the top ten for 37 successive weeks. The second best was Tomb Raider with successive 25 weeks, while Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition managed to stay in the top 10 charts for 22 weeks after release.
