EE has announced new 4G pay as you go plans starting at as little as £3 for 100MB of data with validity of 30 days. Under the new plans, users will be required to pay separately for calls, texts and data and the lowest bundle providing unlimited text messages, 1000 minutes of talk time and 500MB 4G data starts at just £18.99.
EE will be rolling out the new deals from October 30 and they will be offered alongside the pay monthly and SIM-only contracts that are currently on offer from the carrier. The cheapest is the 100MB data for 30 days while the most expensive one is the 10GB at £30 per 30 days.
Users can opt for block of either 100, 200 or 500 minutes for as low as £3, £5 and £10 respectively while they can top up £2, £5 for 400 and 3000 text messages respectively.
The carrier will also be offering 4G phones on contracts and that too on pay as you go including the likes of Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Alcatel One Touch Idol S, and Nokia Lumia 625. EE has trumped other 4G providers in offering pay as you go options for the high-speed mobile connectivity, but it won’t be long before Vodafone and O2 start offering pay as you go services of their own.
The prices on offer by EE are definitely cheap, but we expect the prices to go down once other providers including Vodafone and O2 join the 4G bandwagon.
