Candy Crush Saga has been one of the most addictive games I have come across – a game that has plagued my nights and consumed my days. With an experience of over 8 months of candy crushing I would like to discuss some tips and tricks that have helped me ace the game.
Make combos to be rewarded with Power Candies
If you have already started playing the Candy Crush Saga, you might have till now understood that a single candy is not enough to lead in the game. I would suggest you to wait and create a combo out of the candies to get a power candy; but make sure not to use the power candy instantly. Wait for a right time and to get set of candies to be crushed together with power candy.
Swap and crush the candies at the bottom
Make sure to always swap and move the candies at the bottom of the board; not from the top. Crushing the candies from the bottom will affect the movement of a large number of candies, falling from top to bottom.
Swapping two color bombs together
Swapping of two color bombs will bring an explosion, which is sure to swipe off almost half the board.
Move Vertically
Make sure to move vertically in the level with nuts and fruits. This will help you cross the level faster. Moving vertically helps in dropping down the ingredients instantly.
Use Lollipops wisely
One of the most important tips in Candy Crush Saga is to save as much as Lollipops you can, and use them wisely. The game might be free, but not the lollipops. The use of lollipop hammers is very much effective in tough challenges after level 30. Using lollipops is sure to help you move ahead in the game.
Always swap the wrapped and striped candy
To get a big blast within a level, swap the wrapped and striped candy. Using these candies you can wipe out a good number of candies, almost clearing the board.
Play the Candy Game on PC to get extra Life
A time will come when you will be left with no lives at the end, and only the option you will have is to send request to your friends and they might or might not accept Candy Crush Saga requests.
If they accept the request, then you will be rewarded with extra life; else other option is to log into your Facebook account on PC and start playing candy game there. This will provide a new set of lives.
Strategize each move instead of following the candies that flash
Stop following the candies that flash on the board. They are automatically generated and will not help you achieve the best scores. Instead, strategize the game and mark your own moves.
Clear the chocolates and jellies on the edges ASAP
Make sure to clear the chocolates and jellies on the edges whenever you are stuck at a level. Concentrate on the corners and at the bottom while playing jelly challenges.
Get rid of chocolates ASAP, else they will regenerate again and block the game. Regeneration of chocolates will absorb bombs.
