Zynga has released a new version of its popular farming title FarmVille and has aptly named it FarmVille 2: Country Escape.
Zyanga’s ‘new chapter of FarmVille on the go’ will effectively allow users to experience farming not only through Facebook, but also on their mobile devices including iPhone, iPad and Android smartphones and tablets.
“FarmVille 2: Country Escape’s beautiful graphics and animation immerse players in a relaxing coastal world that springs to life at every touch”, reads the official description of the game.
Just like its predecessor, FarmVille 2 will allow gamers to grow crops, nurture animals, collect treasures, craft goods and perform quite a few other activities. The latest edition of the game is set in “an all new coastal location”.
The new version of the game features an offline mode as well that will ensure that gamers can continue with their farming activities even when distant from internet connectivity and as soon as connectivity is established all the tasks complete while offline will sync automatically.
Jamie Davies, Game General Manager at Zynga, said “Just as the original ‘FarmVille’ created a global phenomenon when it launched, we expect the same from ‘Country Escape'”.
Zynga has released FarmVille 2: Country Escape globally in more than a dozen languages. In a first of its kind, Zynga is allowing gamers to play the game without friends.
