Kazam has released ‘Kazam Tornado 348’ – the world’s slimmest smartphone, which is set to go on sale in the UK starting mid-November.
The new Kazam Tornado 348 is mere 5.15mm in thickness and 95.5g in weight. The smartphone is scheduled to go on sale in the UK from mid-November for £249 SIM-free in black and white color options.
Powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core processor, the Tornado 348 features a 4.8-inch AMOLED 1280 x 780 HD Gorilla Glass screen offering excellent resolution and clarity, an 8-megapixel main camera with 1080p video capture and a 5-megapixel front facing snapper for selfie lovers.

The handset’s 16GB of internal storage is complemented by a microSD slot supporting cards up to 32GB in size. The Tornado 348 runs Google’s latest Android OS, KitKat 4.4.2 and houses a 2,050mAh battery which is expected to offer 240 hours of standby or 6 hours of talk time in a single charge.
Furthermore, the maker is also offering a year’s free screen protection, which will let customers to claim for one screen replacement during a period of 12 months from date of purchase.
“We are delighted to be unveiling the world’s slimmest smartphone,” Michael Coombes, CEO at KAZAM Mobile Limited, said while unveiling the handset.
“Kazam remains focused on innovating in areas often overlooked, the Kazam Tornado 348 combines superior design with heavy hitting features, all backed up by the Kazam proposition, adding real value for consumers” Coombes added.
The European smartphone maker is yet to announce the new handset’s exact UK launch date.
