WhatsApp for iPhone has been updated with a range of new features including ability to archive chats; add captions to videos and photos; and ability to share slow-motion videos among other things.
The latest version of WhatsApp for iPhone, which now stands at 2.11.9, packs quite a few other things beyond the three features noted above.
The latest version of WhatsApp for iPhone also comes with a fast camera access button to capture and send photos immediately; ability to trim videos before sharing them with friends; ability to share location; new media auto-download preferences; new wallpapers and notification tones.
Those who face issues while using the app can report problems and to enable users to provide accurate information, WhatsApp for iPhone now packs ability to attach screenshots while reporting issues.
Soon after iOS 8 was released, users started reporting issues about WhatsApp crashing to the point that many even stopped using the app completely. However, it seems that with updates in latest iOS 8 beta and WhatsApp, the messaging app has been stabilizing a lot with app crash issues fading away.
