Despite a heavy 47 percent decline in week-on-week sales, Watch Dogs has managed to top UK all formats and individual formats chart for the third week in a row.
The lack of any new big banner releases is one of the reasons why Watch Dogs hasn’t been pushed from its top position this week as well.
FIFA world cup is underway and the direct result of the football fever was seen with 16 percent increase in week-on-week sales and a second spot in all formats charts for EA’s ‘2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil – the title ranked sixth in all formats chart last week.
In individual formats chart as well EA’s soccer title managed to finish on sixth position up from tenth the week before that.
Elsewhere in the charts, Wolfenstein: The New Order jumped one position to finish third, whereas Mario Kart 8 fell two positions to fourth. FIFA 14 didn’t manage to gain as much traction as its world cup counterpart, but the title still managed to hold its fifth position. Titanfall jumped three positions to finish sixth with a one percent increase in week-on-week sales.
Titles which managed to stay put on their previous week’s rankings apart from FIFA 14 include Minecraft PlayStation 3 edition and Minecraft Xbox 360 edition, Call of Duty: Ghosts, and Grand Theft Auto V.
