After over six months delay Watch Dogs is finally arriving on Xbox One and PS4 on May 27, Ubisoft has confirmed.
“We are pleased to be able to reveal to gamers all over the world the new release date for Watch Dogs,” said Ubisoft’s EMEA senior VP of sales and marketing Geoffroy Sardin.
“We are extremely confident that the additional time we afforded the dev team to refine and polish the game will be more than worth the wait.”
The game was originally set to go live along with Xbox One and PS4 back in November but Ubisoft pushed it back to give the game a final polish and to fix any bugs that may have been lurking around in the game. It was believed that there could be some other reasons behind the delay.
Watch Dogs is also launching for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. PS4 and PS3 users will get 60 minutes of additional gameplay, while the Wii U version is expected “at a later date”.
