Vodafone is bringing its 4G network to five more major cities in the UK including Basingstoke, Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Reading, and Southampton by end of summer.
Vodafone claims that rollout in these cities will extend its 4G network to an additional one million people and over 35,000 businesses.
“Mobile connectivity plays a vital role in keeping communities in touch and helping to support the local economy”, said Vodafone CTO Fergal Kelly in a blog post.
“Our network improvements will ensure thousands of businesses and hundreds of thousands of consumers in the south of England will have a better opportunity to take part in the growing smartphone revolution”, he added.
