Marking the first anniversary of its 4G service, Vodafone has announced the expansion of the superfast service to its pay-as-you-go customers.
Vodafone’s pay-as-you-go users will now be able to avail the extra-fast data through 3 Red Freedom Freebees. Those choosing the £20 Freedom Freebee, will receive 500 minutes, unlimited texts and 2GB of data, while those opting for a £30 or £40 Freedom Freebee will receive unlimited calls, texts and 4GB or 6GB of data respectively.
The mobile operator is also offering Spotify Premium and Sky Sports mobile TV to customers opting for the £30 or £40 Freedom Freebees. Furthermore, any customer availing a 4G Freedom Freebee will be offered unlimited data for the first 30 days to assess their actual data requirement and choose the deal that suits their needs accordingly.
Announcing the latest move, Cindy Rose, consumer director at Vodafone UK said that the company has already signed up well over a million Pay monthly customers to its 4G service over the past year and now it has decided to open up this great opportunity for its Pay as you go customers as well. Rose added that the company is also offering the best value 4G smartphone available, with these great value Freedom Freebees to go with it.
Launched last year, Vodafone’s 4G network currently covers 304 towns and cities, as well as thousands of smaller communities across the UK with over one million 4G customers.
