Apple, it seems has forgotten to patch Bluetooth bugs in iOS 7, as users are still complaining about issues that were initially reported in the middle of September.
It is mostly car owners who are complaining that they are no longer able to pair with their car’s Bluetooth system after upgrading to iOS 7. The issues were reported as early as September with users complaining that their steering wheel controls have stopped working after updating to iOS 7.1.
Initially reported by Prius owners, those owning Volkswagen, Mercedes, Ford, Honda branded cars also started complaining about similar issues. This means that the issue is to do with a particular brand or car model, but rather with iOS 7. The discussion has garnered nearly 80,000 hits and over 300 replies indicating that the issue may be widespread.
Users have stated that a temporary fix that involves removing all Bluetooth settings from the iPhone and car, restarting the phone, re-pairing iPhone with the car does work. Some has even claimed that updating to iOS 7.0.3 resolves the issue. However, there are those who are reporting that even if the temporary fix is tried out or iOS 7.0.3 update is applied the issue still remains.
“Can you forward music titles from the car controls or from the lockscreen of your iPhone? I can’t on my 4S, not even with IOS 7.0.3”, complained one of the users.
“I updated my iPhone 5 and my Wife’s iPhone 5 to iOS7 since then I am not able to connect to my Ford Focus handfree system, everytime I try to connect the Radio just shutdowns with a connect failure,” noted another.

Can’t pair the iPhone 5S to the Mecedes 300 Model 2012.
After resetting the factory setting in the car and deleted all previous devices to have a fresh start, even an old iphone 4 (also with ios 7) who used to be paired with Car got lost and could not pair it any more.
