The top three titles in the UK all formats chart managed to retain their last week’s standings with The Last of Us: Remastered holding onto its top position followed by Watch Dogs at second and FIFA 14 at third.
One of the main reasons behind no movement in the top three positions despite decline in week-on-week sales was the absence of a big banner release that could compete with the titles from Sony, Ubisoft and EA.
One of the biggest jumps this week was by GTA V – thanks to retailer promotions – which finished at fourth owing to 37 per cent increase in week-on-week sales.
Elsewhere in the charts, Minecraft: Xbox 360 edition retained its fifth position, but Minecraft: PS3 edition slipped one position to finish at seventh.
Call of Duty: Ghosts and Battlefield 4 retained their eighth and ninth positions respectively, but Sniper Elite 3 slipped three positions to finish at tenth.
The only new release which managed to break into the top 40 was Capcom’s Ultra Street Fighter IV landing on no. 15.
