Users who updated their iPhones and iPads to iOS7 have been flocking Apple forums to report issues while sending and receiving messages through iMessage.
Apple has already confirmed that they are aware about iMessage issues. “We are aware of an issue that affects a fraction of a percent of our iMessage users, and we will have a fix available in an upcoming software update”.
“We apologize for any inconvenience this causes impacted users’, Apple said in a statement.
Users use iMessage to send texts for free over Wi-Fi. The advantage with this program is that the users can not only send messages from phone to phone, phone to iPad and iPod but to the Mac computers as well. Users have been complaining about iMessage issues as soon as they updated the iOS to version 7.
Solutions have been provided on Apple forums by other users who claim that resetting network settings resolves the iMessage issue. “Many are experiecing this issue over the last few days. A phone reset or going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings resolves the issue”, notes one of the user who claims to have successfully resolved his issue.
