With Sony’s PlayStation 4 December Asia debut approaching fast, the company recently revealed some more information about the gaming console. The PS4 is scheduled to hit Hong Kong on December 17 and Taiwan on December 18. The company has also announced prices for the different gaming console bundles and accessories.
The basic PlayStation 4 gaming console set will retail at HK $3380 – roughly RM 1,385 or SG $541. Another set with the PS Camera will retail a bit higher at a price of HK $3680 / RM 1,508 / SG $590. Both the console sets will come with a free one-month PS Plus membership.
Sony also announced prices for the Launch-day bundles, including the exclusive Killzone: Shadowfall special bundle set which will be made available for a price of HK $3780 / RM 1,550 / SG $605 and the Dynasty Warrior 8 with Xtreme Legends Bundle will sport a price tag of HK $3,880. Both launch day special bundles will come with a free two-month worth of PS plus Membership.
Along with bundle prices, the prices for PlayStation 4 accessories were also announced by the company. DualShock 4 Controllers have been priced each at HK $468, the DualShock 4 charging dock will cost HK $248; and the PlayStation Camera will sell at HK $468.
Sony has also revealed that several other Asian countries will be getting an early launch date for the PlayStation 4 – probably by December.
Sony’s PS Vita TV will hit the Hong Kong market on January 16th 2014 with a price tag of HK $798 / RM 328 / SG $128.
Bundled with a DualShock 3 controller and an 8GB memory card, the PSVita TV Value Pack, will also be available on the same day for HK $1,180 / RM483 / SG $190.
