The Syrian Electronic Army has kept to its word and continues its attack on Microsoft’s digital assets – the latest in line of fire being the official Office blog.
Just a few minutes back SEA tweeted screenshots of the hacked Microsoft Office blog containing articles titled “Hacked by the Syrian Electronic Army”.

The SEA also posted couple of screenshots showing the control panel of the Office blog. One screenshot is that of the old CMS and the other one is that of the WordPress that allowed them to post the article.

Microsoft did go about rectifying the issue and removed the articles posted by SEA, but the last tweet from the hacking collective indicates that the SEA attacks on the Windows 8 maker are to continue as they have access to login credentials of Microsoft employees.
“Dear @Microsoft, Changing the CMS will not help you if your employees are hacked and they don’t know about that. #SEA” noted SEA in its last tweet.
The latest attack is part of the series of attacks on Microsoft properties, the first instance being the hack of Skype social profiles. This was followed by the hijack of official Xbox Support Twitter account after which the hacking collective hacked into Microsoft’s official blog and MSFT News Twitter feed.
