New benchmark results of a Samsung SM-G900S have been spotted online and chances are that the smartphone could indeed be Galaxy S5 because of the specifications which include Snapdragon 800 processor and 2K resolution screen.
There were reports yesterday that Samsung is prepping for launch of as many as 5 smartphones in early 2014 including the Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 3 Lite and considering that the leaked benchmark results show top of the line specifications, SM-G900S could indeed be the Galaxy S5 that is destined for South Korean SK Telecom.
According to the benchmark results, the SM-G900S is powered by Qualcomm’s 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon MSM8974AC SoC, 2,560 x 1,400 pixel resolution screen, and Android 4.4 KitKat.
According to earlier reports the Galaxy S5 will be a metal-encased handset featuring a 16-megapixel OIS camera, 3GB RAM and will be made available in three different variations based on storage sizes – 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. It is also believed that Samsung will be launching the S5 with an octa-core processor and from the looks of the leaked results, the Galaxy S5 could have at least two variants based on processor as well.
