Samsung Galaxy S5 will be unveiled at an exclusive event in London in mid-March, new rumours suggest.
Samsung didn’t announce Galaxy S5 during CES 2014 and it is highly unlikely that it will launch the handset during MWC 2014 because of the immense popularity of its Galaxy smartphones and Samsung’s recent attraction to exclusive events just like Apple.
According to Flavio, who goes by the Twitter handle @flapic and presents himself as a freelance journalist, Samsung will announce its Galaxy S5 at an event in London, the information which he claims is from reliable sources.
“Samsung to hold its next Global launch (S5?) event in London in a mid March date, a reliable source confirmed me”, Flavio tweeted.

While it is generally not advised to go about believing rumours, this one may have a little lateral support. First is that Samsung has never unveiled its flagship device at a common event. The last flagship announcement was for Galaxy S2 at MWC 2011. Since then Samsung has organized exclusive events for its product launches – specifically flagship devices.
The second thing that may stand by the latest rumour is the location. S4 was launched in New York, so a London event makes sense. Further, holding an Unpacked event just before MWC will help the South Korean giant to grab a lot of limelight.
