Samsung Galaxy S4, Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note II are in for a good surprise as it seems that Samsung has already prepped Android 4.3 update for all the three smartphones and it should hit each one of them latest by November.
According to a roadmap of French carrier SFR [Google translated], Samsung Galaxy S4 will be receiving the Jelly Bean update before end of October and Galaxy S3 and Note II will be receiving the update sometime in November or December.
The time stated in the roadmap most probably only applies to France or European region at the most and we suspect that these timelines may not apply for US handsets. The reason is that U.S. carriers first test out the update inhouse before it is rolled out to their customers.
This means that Galaxy S4, S4 and Note II users in the US may not be getting the updates as mentioned in the roadmap and may receive them sometime next year. The Android 4.3 update will be offered as an over the air (OTA) as well as manual update through Samsung Kies.
HTC One is also likely to get its much awaited Android 4.3 update before end of year.
