Samsung isn’t going to pack a full HD display in its rumoured Galaxy Note 3 Lite, but will instead pack a 720p LCD display, new reports indicate.
A device with a model number SM-N750 was spotted in Samsung’s user agent profile and that is the rumoured Galaxy Note 3 Lite. The hardware platform description shows that the device boasts of a 1,280 x 720p display and doesn’t feature LTE connectivity, but will be rather limited to 3G.
Further from the profile it is also evident that the smartphone won’t be running Android’s latest KitKat, but will be rather loaded with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
The Lite name does hint at a slimmed down phone in terms of specifications with a low outlay. It was rumoured earlier that the Note 3 Lite will pack a 5.7-inch, while some hinted at a 5.49-inch screen. Samsung will be using a LCD display rather than an AMOLED one to keep the prices down and fit it with a 8-megapixel camera instead of a 13-megapixel one.
