Samsung has announced its new Galaxy Ace range entrant dubbed ‘the Galaxy Ace 4’ will be available for purchase from Samsung Experience Stores across UK as well as selected online and high street retailers including EE starting Friday October 17, with O2 to follow.
Equipped with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED screen, the new Galaxy Ace 4 is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM, a 1900 mAh battery, 8GB of internal memory plus a microSD slot for the option of an additional 64GB storage space. There’s a 5 megapixel main camera with autofocus and an LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera on board.
The handset runs the latest Android 4.4 (KitKat) operating system including new features such as wireless printing and smart storage access. Samsung KNOX 2.0 is also built in to help protect files and keep personal and work-related content separate.
In addition to Bluetooth 4.0 and 3G, the Galaxy Ace 4 also supports Cat 4 4G LTE offering superfast 4G speeds ideal for lightning-fast browsing. The Ace 4 comes in at 121.4 x 62.9 x 11mm and 130.3g in Iris Charcoal or Classic White color options.
In words of Ines van Gennip, marketing director of the IT and Mobile Division of Samsung UK, the new sleek and compact Galaxy Ace 4 , despite being low priced, guarantees an exceptional smartphone experience for users.
“Combining world-class viewing technology with super-fast 4G speeds, the Galaxy Ace 4 provides the ultimate entertainment experience whether you’re browsing the web or watching an HD movie,” Gennip said.
Although pricing details of the new Galaxy Ace 4 is yet to be revealed, it is expected that the handset will come in at under £200.
