Recent reports suggest Microsoft’s alleged smartphone dubbed ‘Lumia 435’ has passed through the FCC Brazilian counterpart called Anatel or the Agencia Nacional de Telecomunicacoes.
The certification authority’s certification has confirmed the smartphone’s name and RM-1068 model number. As per the filings, the low-end device will support dual-SIM 3G connectivity.
Rumored specs of Microsoft Lumia 435 include a 4 inch display featuring WVGA resolution of 800 x 480 pixels with a pixel density of 235 ppi, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset, 1GB of RAM and a 5MP main camera. The device is expected to measure 64.7×118.1 mm and run Windows Phone 8.1.
Furthermore, Microsoft’s request for confidentiality of the device’s images in the filing is set to expire at the end of this month, which means official debut of the Lumia 435 is not very far into the future, possibly at the Redmond’s 21st January event.
