GTA Online Heists, which was originally slated to arrive with the I Am Not a Hipster update, has been delayed as the team is taking more time to develop the content for the new feature.
Heists are those special and complex operations based on situations already experienced by players in GTA V single player mode. Heists allow gamers to band together in teams and execute well prepared attacks against high value targets earning them plenty of rewards.
“We are very sorry for the delay, and are working hard to bring them to you as soon as we can. Please know that we are focused as always on making the best possible content for you to play and we are thankful to all of you for your patience, understanding and support”, said in the comments section of the I Am Not a Hipster update.
The I Am Not a Hipster update brings with it new retro print tees, skinny jeans, hairstyles, animal masks, tattoos, among other things. The update also adds seven new cars including Glendale, Warrener, Blade and Rhapsody.
The update also brings 12 new jobs across different game modes including races, deathmatch, captures and more. Alongside new features, the update also packs a ton of bug fixes thereby making the gameplay experience a lot more smooth and cool.
The update shall be rolled out over the weekend and users are not required to do anything special to apply it.
“To download the “I’m Not a Hipster” Update, just boot up your online-connected PS3 or Xbox 360 and start GTAV. You’ll be prompted to download the automatic update (1.14) and Xbox 360 players will also be required to download an additional compatibility pack upon entering GTA Online”, notes Rockstar.
