As Nokia’s silent Lumia 525 unveil is still fresh and making headlines, rumour mongers have moved and turned their attention to an alleged dual-SIM Lumia smartphone that Nokia is working on.
According to leakster evleaks, Nokia is busy working on a dual-SIM Lumia smartphone powered by Windows Phone Blue aka Windows Phone 8.1. Through the tweet evleaks also said that the phone is codenamed Moneypenny.
Earlier the same leakster had revealed that Nokia is working on a smartphone dubbed Goldfinger that will also run Windows Phone 8.1. The new Windows Phone version is expected to have an improved notification centre, Cortana voice assistant – an Apple Siri rival, among other refinements.
Dual-SIM smartphones are particularly well received in budget-savvy markets including the Indian subcontinent, Africa and parts of Middle East. Chances are the Nokia will launch Moneypenny in these regions first just like it is going to do with Lumia 525.
