Sony has announced its game streaming service dubbed ‘PlayStation Now’ is coming to the PlayStation 3 starting May 12.
As a result, PlayStation 3 owners will now be able to use the subscription service to access a library of more than 100 PS3 titles. These titles can also be played on the PS4, as well as some Sony Blu-ray players and smart televisions. The service also works on the PlayStation Vita handheld console and Sony’s PlayStation TV set-top box.
One-month subscription membership will cost $20 USD, while three-month memberships will cost $45.
Sony also confirmed a list of games that will be added to PlayStation Now this month. This includes Fat Princess, F1 2014, Sanctum 2, Dynasty Warriors 2: Strikeforce, and Farming Simulator. More games will continue to be added each month.
PlayStation Now is presently available in an open beta version. It is available on all the major PS platforms and will soon make its way to Samsung TVs and Sony Corporation’s Blu-Ray Players.
Customers new to PlayStation Now will get a seven-day free trial, Sony confirmed.
