PlayStation 4 started selling at midnight across North America and it seems that Sony didn’t do enough to ensure stability of PlayStation Network as a number of users have reported that they are not able to connect to PSN.
Sony has acknowledged connectivity issues through an official statement on PlayStation Knowledge Center. “The PlayStation Network is currently experiencing extrememely high volume, some gamers may experience some difficulty connecting. We ask for your patience”, reads the latest update about PSN Network Issues.
Earlier this week Sony released a PlayStation system’s day-one software update versioned 1.50 on PlayStation.com. This move was in anticipation of high rush on launch day allowing early adopted to download the 308 MB patch before launch day gamers. Some of the features included with the patch include Remote Play with PlayStation Vita; online multiplayer; party chat; ability to play games as they are downloaded among others.
