Sony has revealed today that it will be offering freebies to all PlayStation 4 early adopters in the form of PlayStation store credit and free trial of PlayStation Plus.
Early PlayStation 4 buyers in the US and Canada will find a $10 voucher for PlayStation Store that can be used towards any of the PS4 launch titles and even PlayStation 3 and PS Vita titles if they choose to. Further gamers will be also offered a 30 day free trial of PlayStation Plus and 30-day free trial of its Music Unlimited streaming service.
“The $10 credit can be used towards anything in the store including new PS4 launch titles, such as Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, Battlefield 4, Call of Duty Ghosts, and Killzone Shadow Fall”, notes Sony on its PlayStation blog.
Through the PlayStation Plus trail, gamers will be able to experience multiplayer gaming right from day one including a number of other features including instant access to PS4 indie titles like Resogun and Contrast.
The 30-day free trial of Sony’s Music Unlimited streaming service, which otherwise costs $10/month, will give users access to millions and millions of songs. However, this service may hardly be considered as a freebie as it is already provided to anyone on trial basis, whether they buy the PlayStation 4 or not.
Earlier today Sony confirmed the pricing of PlayStation 4 for Hong Kong and Taiwan.
