Just like it happens every time, people have started lining up outside Apple’s flagship store on 5th Avenue, New York, to buy its next flagship phone dubbed iPhone 6.
Notably, the first four people who have started waiting for iPhone 6 outside the store are not Apple enthusiasts but are paid for waiting outside the store. Actress Moon Ray and her husband Jason Ray were identified among those camping outside the store who said that they were promoting an iOS 8 health app VideoMedicine.

VideoMedicine is an app for patients to have telemedicine sessions with their doctors so that they don’t have to travel to their doctor’s clinic to for consultation.
Ray said that New York was the best place to start promoting the app as 50 percent of the residents do not own a private car and hence cannot travel to their doctor quickly when a need arises.

There were also two others who have regularly taken up the job of waiting outside the store longer than the previous record of 15 days and buying an iPhone 6, sponsored by BuyBackWorld.com, a reseller company dealing with used phones and such devices.
Cousins Brian Ceballo and Joseph Cruz have been doing this since the very first iPhone was launched and this time, they arrived at the store on August 31 to make their wait the longest so far amounting to about 19 days as Apple makes its phones available for purchase 10 days after the launch.

The cousins and the Rays are paid for their time, food and the phones they choose by their respective sponsors.
Although the cousins arrived at the place ahead of the Rays they have made $1,250 each by trading their first two places in the line with the Rays. Surprisingly, Ray said she has not owned an iPhone before but is excited about the sapphire crystal display the iPhone 6 is rumoured to come with.
The cousins said they are excited about it too as they get to choose any model and their employer pays for it.
