Parallels, a global leader in hosting and cloud services enablement, now supports Windows Azure Pack through APS (application packaging standard) for Parallels Automation.
This service allows the hosting service providers to use and experience the innovative features of Microsoft’s Windows Azure in their data centre, which would speed up the time required to deliver Microsoft’s solutions to customers before their competitors could.
Through this Parallels now provides its partners with another set of high-demand services, which they can deliver to their customers using their own infrastructure.
Parallels, as a Microsoft Global ISV, has come up with this solution in collaboration with Microsoft, expanding Microsoft’s cloud services portfolio.
John Zanni, Chief Marketing Officer of Parallels, said
Parallels has been collaborating with Microsoft since 2007 to enable the delivery of cloud services for telecom companies, domain hosting providers, distributors, managed service providers and VARs. Our experience with Parallels Automation provisioning and managing Office 365, SharePoint, Exchange, Lync and Microsoft Dynamics CRM confirms the demand for services based on Microsoft technologies.
With this support, partners can now target SMBs and enterprises with a unique service and deliver hybrid cloud services tailored to meet the requirements of the market. Hosting service providers can now offer rich multi-tenant hosting services with advanced cloud capabilities of Windows Azure.
Microsoft has recently announced the Cloud OS Network, with around 25 cloud service providers. Parallels, in collaboration with many of these service providers, allows seamless provisioning of the new services of Windows Azure Pack.
