OnePlus has announced that it is going to initiate a new preorder system this October, which will allow anyone to pre-order for the company’s flagship device ‘OnePlus One.’
The China-based smartphone maker, in a blog post, explained that with the new pre-order system, interested buyers will be able to place an order for the handset through the window that will remain open only for a limited period of time.
OnePlus will immediately ship the smartphone if it happens to be in stock along with accessories demanded. However, if there’s no stock available, then customer’s name will be automatically added to a pre-order page.
Consumers who end up on the pre-order list will have the option to cancel their orders for a refund.
Available for £229, the OnePlus One features a 5.5-inch 1,920 x 1,080 Full HD resolution display with 401 ppi, a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor coupled with an Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 16 or 64 GB internal storage and 3100 mAH battery.
The OnePlus One sports a 13-megapixel (4,128 x 3,096 pixel) rear snapper with autofocus, dual-LED flash and touch focus, face detection, HDR and geotagging features along with a 5-megapixel front camera perfect for user’s selfie needs.
