Last month we brought to you Nokia smartwatch concept from Jonas Dae who goes by the Twitter handle @PhoneDesigner and now we have an update to that as Dae has finished working on the designs and we can say that the concept is just awesome.
Matching the colour range of Lumia smartphones, the Nokia smartwatch concept has been designed in different colours including Red, Green, Blue, White, and Yellow among others. The concept dictates a design that is clean, effective and just fit for the purpose. It doesn’t have the unnecessary that other smartwatches in the market carry with them.
Nokia remained quiet at the CES 2104 and chances are that it won’t launch anything either at MWC 2014. We will reiterate what we said last time about Nokia’s launches during 2014 – Nokia isn’t likely to announce a whole lot in 2014 considering the impending Microsoft acquisition.
It is rumoured that Nokia Normandy aka Nokia X – the Finnish giant’s first Android-powered smartphone; Lumia 1820; Lumia 1520V aka Lumia 1520 Mini and quiet a few other smartphones may debut at MWC 2014, but we are highly skeptical about this.
So, till MWC actually happens, enjoy the concept design of Nokia’s smartwatch:
