Google hasn’t officially announced Nexus 5, but clues indicate that the smartphone is around the corner and will get launched soon and preorder offers like the one here have started popping up on the web.
There are those who have been waiting for the handset since the first rumours about the Nexus 5 surfaced and will go to any heights to own it as soon as they are released. There will be those who won’t be able to get their hands on the smartphone on launch day and chances are that it may sell out the very same day.
In anticipation to this scenario one eBay seller has offered Nexus 5 16GB on preorder eBay for a whopping $600. From the looks of it the offer seems to be legit and out of the five which were on offer, 4 have already been sold out.
But if you scroll down you will find that the seller is actually going to leave it on the chance that he / she will be able to buy five of the Nexus 5 before the initial stock runs out and then will ship them to you (even internationally) while pocketing a profit of $250 on each of the handsets. The seller has a 100% positive feedback rating and it seems that the seller is good at what he / she is doing.
However, we recommend our readers to weigh-in the pros and cons before committing to such offers. There are tons of other websites that may crop up between now and the launch date which will claim to offer Nexus 5, so it would be prudent if you would investigate properly before placing any orders.
Google has reportedly sent out invites for an event to be held on October 24, but no details about the event have been revealed yet. We do not have a copy of the invite and chances are that this might be a rumour!
