Mozilla is all set for an official release of Firefox 26 today with a number of changes and exciting new features including support for H.264 video codec.
Available for download right now through Mozilla.org FTP servers, Firefox 26 now defaults the non-Flash plug-ins to ‘click-to-play’ mode; password manager includes support for script-generated password fields; and improved page load times. The latest version however doesn’t include support for VP9 video codec. Official release announcement should be available sometime today.
On the developer front, Firefox 26 supports new CSS properties; VTTCue; ECMAScript 6 support with new mathematical methods; API improvements; and remote accessibility of Firefox Inspector over the network. If you are keen on developer-focused changes, head onto the developer release notes here.
