Motorola has started sending out invites for an event in London to be held on January 14 where the Google owned company will be announcing a “new addition” to the Motorola family.
Motorola has chosen its words carefully and they indicate that the invite is for an event where the company will reveal a European version of the Moto X.
Earlier reports indicated that the Moto X could be launched for the European market, but the smartphone maker won’t be providing the level of customisation it is offering for the handset back in the states. Customer can get a highly customised Moto X through the “Moto Maker” store and those who don’t mind the standard look and feel with few colour and finishing options they can buy one from other retail outlets.
We suspect that it would be the latter that Motorola will be offering in Europe. As the event is to be held in London, whatever it is will also be available in the UK.
