Microsoft has updated Cortana by including detailed stock profiles incorporating prices, and graphs.
If you are in the US, Cortana will now be able to track price changes from time to time alongside other information and will display it in a graph format. Cortana is powered by Bing and all the search queries are routed through Microsoft’s search engine.
The team behind Cortana had earlier assured that they will be releasing updated twice a month by adding new features and improvements and the latest update seems to be the part of that promise.
Microsoft has been bringing in updates for Windows Phone 8.1 and its native apps including Skype as just last month, it integrated Cortana and Skype.
There were rumours that Microsoft was going to bring Cortana to Android and iOS, but Redmond was quick to refute those rumours stating that its stabilizing and improving Cortana for Windows Phone 8.1 was its utmost priority.
Cortana is yet to release for other regions and it is expected that the virtual assistant will land in UK and China first followed by other regions.
