Microsoft on Wednesday announced that it has expanded the availability of its Surface Pro 3 to another 25 global markets.
Until now the Surface Pro 3 was available for $199.99 in stores online and through authorized resellers only in Canada, Japan and the US, but the latest announcement brings the total number of global markets with Surface Pro 3 availability to 28.
Announcing the expansion in a official blog post, Microsoft claimed the next 24 hours to be huge for Surface fans everywhere.
Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Luxembourg, Malaysia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, the United Kingdom and the United States are the countries that will now have all Surface Pro 3 models for sale over the course of the next day.
Microsoft said that interested people can pre-order in all 28 countries starting Wednesday, with the shipping to begin on September 12.
The Redmond claims that its Surface Pro 3 is the tablet that can suitably replace users’ laptop. The Surface Pro 3 is productive like a PC but gives the freedom of the tablet.
Microsoft is looking at generating the much needed revenue, with the expansion of the Surface Pro 3 to new global markets.
