LOVEFiLM Instant, the app which was previously limited for use only for Apple iPad and Amazon Kindle Fire users, has been now launched for iPhone and iPod Touch devices also.
For the first time since its launch, this TV and movie streaming service has been made available to those who don’t have an Apple iPad or an Amazon Kindle Fire. LOVEFiLM Instant allows users to find their favorite films and TV shows to watch while they are on the move and add them to their watchlist to enjoy on the big screen when they return back home. In addition the app also offers users an option to watch movies and television shows right there and then.
For users who wish to wirelessly stream movies and TV shows to a big screened device, the app’s AirPlay feature does it all by streaming the content to the big screen using Apple TV.
The app however does not include support for LOVEFiLM’s postal service, so users still will have to either use the online service or download the Postal Service app to rent physical copies.
The LOVEFiLM Instant app is limited to streaming content via Wi-Fi only. The app also provides a link to IMDB’s own website allowing users to view information from IMDB including details about cast members and trivia.
Users can download LOVEFiLM Instant app from the App Store on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch for free.
