LG has revealed its latest flagship smart phone dubbed ‘LG G4’ will debut in South Korea on April 29.
The flagship’s South Korean launch will take place a day after the LG G4 April 28 press event where the smartphone maker is expected to announce the latest smartphone.
In a bid to entice customers, LG will also be rolling out a free screen replacement programme that will offer one free screen replacement within the first twelve months from the date of purchase. Further, LG G4 buyers will also get a free 64GB microSD card. Both the offers, which will run for a limited period starting April 29 to May 31, will be good for South Korean consumers only.
The new G4 is expected to feature a 5.5 inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, an octa core Snapdragon 810 64-bit processor and 3GB of RAM.
Other rumored specifications on the new LG G4 include 32GB of built in storage and a microSD card slot for extra storage. The handset will feature LG’s new flagship mobile camera which comes with a 16 megapixel sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The handset will run the latest version of Google’s mobile OS, Android 5.0 Lollipop.
LG is scheduled to unveil the G4 on April 28 and April 29 at events in six cities including New York, London, Paris, Istanbul, Singapore and Seoul.
The smartphone maker has not yet confirmed when the device will launch in the US and Europe.
